Indonesia Golden Visa Investment Reach $558 Million in H2 2024
As per the reports of Jakarta Globe, Indonesia Golden Visa investment reaches $558 million during second half of 2024. The figures include Golden Visa approvals till 10th December 2024 and 471 approvals. The investment during this period is equivalent to 9 trillion Indonesian rupees.
Indonesia Golden Visa Success in 2024
The program launched in September 2023 and is now a popular investment option. The government of Indonesia sets a target of 1000 Golden Visa investors by the end of 2024 which seems to be too ambitious. The second half of 2024 seems to be a successful period where 471 investors got approval of their Golden Visa applications.
Indonesia Visa Statistics 2024
As per the Immigration and Correctional Affairs Ministry of Indonesia, 5.16 million visas were issued until December 15 2024. 89% or 4.59 million are visa on arrival. 43000 visas are multiple entry and 420,000 single entry visas. Among approved visas, 62,000 are limited stay visas.
Indonesia earned 8.58 trillion Indonesian rupees as non-tax revenue from visa services. This is around 43% more than the set target of 6 trillion rupees.
Indonesia Golden Visa Investment Requirements
Indonesia Golden Visa permits 5 to 10 years residency right along with family members. Investment requirements for individuals who prefer not to establish a company starts from 350,000 USD for 5 years and 700,000 USD for 10 years. Individuals with aim to form a company in Indonesia require an investment of $2.5 million for 5 years residency and $5 million for 10 years residency.
